A latest model iPhone may cost just 400 to 500 Yuans in China (1 yuan = Rs 7 approx). The Chinese iPhone has every features or even more than what the Apple offers. It looks cuter than the original one. The original one costs around 5000 Yuans. At one look, no one can differentiate between the original and the duplicate.
Every city has big electronic markets. In Tianjin city ,our major time pass on week ends was to roam around in these markets. Any kind of electronic goods that always kept abreast with the latest technology were available there. The most attractive gadget that lured all of us at that time was MP3 players.
Normally electronic market in a city is big multi storeyed buildings located close to each other. There will be small shops all over that are 'manned' mostly by young girls. Visiting Indians cannot stop wondering what the men in China are upto. Wherever we go, we see women all around. Shop keepers and shoppers are women. They look to be smarter and faster than their counterparts. Good omen however...
Four years down the line, in the electonic markets in Harbin city, Tablet PCs are sold like MP3 players. They have virtually reached the 4G mode even as we Indians are talking about 2G and its murky deals. Still 3G facilitie are not so comon in our country at an affordable price. I too bought one tablet PC that costed me 470 Yuans. It is really a worderful thing to behold
There is a big toy market in Harbin. Every toy, remote controlled as well as normal hand pushed one, is filled up in the shelves of every shop. The imaginations they put into these toys are really mind blowing. Children will simply be blown over by the sea of play things they may come across in the toy market here. They can never make up their minds as to what to choose...I did not buy anything this time, for, I was sure that the same products are available in Pondy Bazar, Chennai at a much lesser price.
In fact the Chinese made electronic goods are so simple with their imaginations. Their products made inroads into every nook and corner of the world. No doubt, the price is the most attractive factor in these products. Despit the negative campaign doing the rounds all over, Chinese products sustain in the market and doing extremely well. No one can stop buying Chinese goods any more. Interestingly, Chinese goods available in India are cheaper than they are in China.
The Chinese are very careful while accepting 100 Yuan currency notes. Everyone checks very diligently before accepting currency notes, especially of denomination 100. Most of the shops, even the small provision shops keep fake note detector. Each time they receive a 100 yuan note, they pass it through this machine. After creating so many duplicates that transcend the originals, they lost confidence even in their money!
Electronic products China offer are amazing pieces of technology. They are masters in it. From mobile phones to remote controlled toy helicopters to tablet PCs, all are available in abundance at unimaginably low cost. The features these gadgets contain can place them second to none. Especially in the case of mobile phones, even the best of the brands cannot match the Chinese ones. A China mobile with all the latest features can be bought at a throwaway price like two or three thousand rupees. Let us not discuss the longevity of the products here.

ReplyDeleteDear PPN
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you.
Though I like the way you present your views,I am not fully agree with the content.
I really feel that the chineses are big blunders and bluffers and duplicaters.
The articles are only looking good but 4 out of 10 atricles/gadgets are not functioning properly after certain periods.pl don't apply your logic of mathematician that
500 RMP atricles fails for 10 times it will be OK.See and think about the safety and security.
The chineses are selling the brands at the material cost so they are cheap.
But there are certian incidences where one shall think whether one shuld go for chinese equipments or not?
e.g 1) The Mobiles which they sold in India ,the battery got exploded after its use--Many cases happened in India and all over the world.
2)it is now proved that the chinese pens being supplied to India is using cheap quality Led based paint for its appearance, which may lead to food posion.
3)The Boilers they supplied to India got exploded during trial running.
4)The 600MW stator failed during HV test after placements of upper bars.
5) The 500MW rotor was failed in HV test after over speed test.
6)The milk incidence happened -when many child affected with food poisons
What this indicate?
The chinese are growing but after exploitation of all bad practices.
Please think ?????
The secret of cheap chinese articles is --
No taxes internally.
The chinese manufacturer get the goods at 12.3+ 4=16.3% lower in comparing to that of India. If it is multiplied on every process the production cost downs by 16.3% or to 30%
If while selling the good no tax.Again the price will be down by 16.3%,So the total price will be down by 30-50%
Surely if they sell it there will be full of orders.(But what about quality?Sustainability in the service life?Quality of service? every thing balanced to chip cost.
So this is the basis of un fair trade practices.
Employer:-
They will employ 6 people in place of 4 people. There salries of 4 people will be divided in 6 people.
They will give kindness, less work, free environment,no much skill,no harrasment,Allow to play during working etc
They will give low cost gifts daily usage articles, grins etc,so the peoples will be happy & enjoy the job.
Peoples:-
They have to support their parents and one child. So 2 family mates Husband and wife has to carry a burden of 5 people and them selves.
Normal chinese person can't offered to buy a house or a car un less he completes at least 5-10 years of service
Normally they will sell their assets and convert in to new assets and earn while conversion of assets.
So peoples of china are so busy they don't have time to enter polictics, read news ,watch politics.Vist to social sites as it is banned.
So this is a country of ignorant people which will not show any sensation neither to external things nor to internal things.what it indicate?are u alive or dead?
Only few people are getting exposure to overseas who will rule on China and chinese people.
Trades in side:- No taxes,No MRPs on goods. So whatever the country is exporting,at chip low price, traders and manufacturers recover the loss from their own people.
The prices inside china are very high.Normal person can be alive if he works for the day.
No savings/No earnings on bank deposits. So they have to spend whatever they earn.
So the peoples are spending,Spending and spending.
If any body falls ill,the treatements are so costly that they don;t offered to take those treatements and comitts to die rather than the teratements. This is the reality.
So the peoples are treated like animals in Sancturies, plenty cattles whithout any recognition & identity.
They will only know to work, spend and do all physical activities and physical enjoyments?
Is it a sign of real growth?
Think?????
Thanks & Regards,
Mangesh Patwardhan
So, what is cheap?
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine of an India free of striking trade unions and dirty politics?
We certainly lose score to China!!!
Consumer market is the future. And they know better.
